Welcome to LodgingGuide's hospitality industry listings for the Bermuda area.
Feasting on beauty and bounty of Bermuda is a treat indeed on this Atlantic Ocean island about 500 miles east of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. A montage of pastel colored cottages, guest houses, hotels, boutiques and eateries dot this upscale island, all the more ambiant with its rolling green terrain. More allure lies submerged, with the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute serving as an ideal place to learn more about life underwater. The Bermuda Maritime Museum introduces a colorful regional history, detailing storied wrecks and relics. Golf and tennis are popular here, and other attractions include the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo (BAMZ), the Keep Royal Naval Dockyard, and the Crystal Caves of Bermuda, with magnificent stalactites and stalagmites surrounding a deep lake of azure blue. On grounds of Stewart Hall in St. George’s, the Bermuda Perfumery has operated since 1928, manufacturing perfumes on premises, and a museum opened in summer 2005 to make scents of it all historically. Fort Hamilton, protecting Hamilton Harbour with its garden moat, affords a glorious panorama. Bermuda, chic and pricier than many island destinations, is also dressier, with men often topping Bermuda shorts with a sports coat, if not a tie.
